Analytics provide a visualisation of your data that can help to quickly identify trends and get you on the front foot. To aid the identification of such trends, chart insights are now also provided giving you a quick glance at key information about your data; ensuring your time is spent proactively acting on these insights rather than simply analysing the data for the key figures.
1. Navigate to a column chart such as the Headcount analytics dashboard.
2. Hover over the % icon to view the Chart Insights.
- The Chart Insights represent the figures relevant to the date range selected when you are viewing the analytics page.
Minimum: The minimum number of employees during the date range selected.
Maximum: The maximum number of employees during the date range selected.
Average: The average number of employees during the date range selected.
Median: The median/middle number of employees during the selected date range.
Standard Deviation: Standard deviation is the average distance of all data points from the mean of the data set. That is, a higher standard deviation represents a data set that is more spread out.
