Releasing a new feature is a big deal for us, so we like to let people know what it is and how it will help. As well as new features, we are also hard at work making enhancements to the features you already know and love.
Some of these you might have noticed, for others it will be a great surprise. These enhancements are often directly influenced by customer feedback, YOUR feedback, so keep letting us know what you think about the platform and how you use it.
Need to track CPD points? Well, now you can! Custom fields can now be added to the training tab on intelliHR making it easier than ever to customise the data you collect around completed employee training. We're keeping these special fields all wrapped up in settings for now so if you would like to add additional fields please contact your customer success manager.
Business Performance Analytics:
The performance report has always allowed you to review employee performance on an individual basis; but now, our business performance takes that information and allows you to view all of that data in one place. This report will allow you to:
- Identify performance trends across teams and departments and discrepancies between supervisors and employees.
- Identify high potential employees and those in need of further development.
- Identify areas of your performance process that require improvement
Through the performance report on an individuals profile intelliHR has made it easier to collate performance data, including goals, manager notes, training and performance against business specific metrics, over time. By gathering all of that data into a real-time report on performance, managers are empowered to have more meaningful conversations with their employees and reduce the time spent preparing for performance reviews. But what does performance look like over the entire organisation?
Business Performance Analytics are designed to help you identify organisational performance trends over time, highlight areas of your performance process that require improvement and identify both high potential employees and those that need help.Using the cross-filter such as pay grade, department or supervisors these analytics give you the tools needed to view the performance of your business on a macroscopic level.
Following your HR initiatives to raise performance in a particular department or in a particular performance area, e.g. customer service, use the analytics to review the performance trends in those areas pre and post initiative.
If you’re keen for a treat, head to the analytics tab for a brand new take on our analytics dashboard. Now with an intuitive navigation, you can simply search for the question you’re looking to answer and the relevant page will be supplied. If you’re more of a fan of our old design, simply select the list view for the analytics sections to be viewable in an easy to use alphabetical format.
The Heat Map
Using the heat map visualisations, pinpoint common discrepancies between supervisor perspectives and those of the employees. If there is a disconnect between the rating supervisors are consistently awarding their employees and the rating employees are giving themselves at an organisational level, it may be necessary to re-enforce alignment about what good performance in that area looks like. As with all the other filters on the page, the heat map will allow you to filter on those ratings that instantly grab your attention. Using the score distribution graph quickly identify those high potential employees and also those that may need further development displaying at the lower end of the scale.
Clicking on the graph will dynamically filter the data allowing you to review those HI-PO employees, or those that need a little extra help in the row data at the bottom of the page.
By default the score distribution displays the scores across the entire organisation but this can be further filtered by departments, supervisors and tenure among other filters.
Identify areas of your performance process that require improvement
If employees and supervisors have been playing it safe there may be a trend towards centre-bias. The heat map will clearly show such a trend and allow you to adapt the process to correct this. Perhaps the ratings can be amended to provide greater resolution at the positive end of the scale, or maybe the language should be changed to reflect a greater emphasis on development ('Needs Help' is much easier to select than 'Unsatisfactory'). In either case, through use of the heat map visualisations strengths and opportunities can be identified. Furthermore, consistent low scores against one particular performance metric may provide insight into potential skills gaps within the organisation and can help to inform succession planning decision making, providing the impetus to explore required development initiatives.
Auto- Generating IDs
If you have trouble remembering the last employee ID number you used you're not alone! intelliHR is now able to auto-generate an intelliHR ID that will always be sequential and ensure you never have duplicates. If you are interested in using this feature and making intelli your source of truth for employee IDs reach out to your CSM and they'll be happy to turn this on.

- Middle Name: Now with intelliHR you can have your middle name displayed on your profile and have it viewable on all employees profiles!
- Autocomplete: You can now set autocomplete to 'off' when choosing a date.
- Pay Cycles: Our pay cycles have now been updated so that there are 52 weeks in a year and 26 fortnightly periods.
- Hover Cards: You may have noticed that there was a brief issue with the hover cards on your dashboard. Fear not as this has now been fixed! Feel free to hover all you want!
- Single Sign-on: You can now use your intelliHR logins if you SSO system has been enabled on your device.
