We've chosen to use Zapier as a tool to connect intelliHR with the other systems in your business. The below article is designed to walk you through setting up a Zapier account (free trials are a good way to test the waters) and how to begin connecting intelli with the rest of your tech landscape. Read on to find out more about Zapier and how it works with intelliHR.
This article covers:
What is Zapier?
Zapier allows you to integrate intelliHR with the other software you use without relying on developers or cramming a computer science degree into your lunch break!
Zapier is an online automation tool that connects your favourite apps and software, such as intelliHR, Gmail, Outlook, Learning Management Systems(LMS), Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), Spreadsheets (Sheets or Excel), and over 1,500 more. You can connect two or more apps to automate repetitive tasks without coding or relying on developers to build the integration. It's easy enough that anyone can build their own app workflows with just a few clicks.
With Zapier, you can set up workflows that allow you to get intelliHR employee data into other software you use within the workplace to save you from double handling information.
For example, maybe you need to notify certain people like payroll when specific actions take place within intelliHR, such as every time you have a job update (change in title, business unit, remuneration, etc.) you put together an email to inform payroll and/or the manager of this change. Rather than doing this manually, with Zapier you can automate this by automatically generating an email highlighting the changes and the actions you require the recipient to do (update payroll system or communicate to the team), saving you time and effort.
