The intelliHR integration with Azure AD is designed for businesses that want a simple, automated, headache-free process for managing their employee data base which is accurate and reliable. The integration will help simplify and improve the data entry and synchronisation process when creating users. This integration will automatically create and update employee records and work emails in Azure when added in intelliHR or vice versa.

What is Azure AD?
Azure AD is Microsoft's identity and access management system. It holds all the information about an organisation's people, and helps manage their access to Microsoft products and other cloud-base platforms like intelliHR using Single Sign-On (SSO).
What data will be pushed between intelliHR and Azure AD?
The integration will assist with synchronising your employee data by sending new employee details to Azure and sending new Azure records to intelliHR. The integration will also allow you to send updated employee records from intelliHR to Azure or from Azure to intelliHR.
In which direction does data flow between the platforms?
Data can flow in both directions or in one direction depending on your preference. Meaning updates can flow from intelliHR to Azure, from Azure to intelliHR or can also flow both ways. The Data Synchronisation Direction which controls this is selected when connecting your Azure AD integration. To learn more about how to connect your integration, click here.
How often does data push between the platforms?
Data will be pushed every time a new employee is added into either Azure AD or intelliHR. Updates to employee information will also push data between the two platforms.
Will turning on this integration activate SSO?
No, turning on the Azure integration will not activate SSO. You need to turn on SSO separately. To learn more about activating SSO in intelliHR, check out Setting up Single Sign On (SSO) with intelliHR.
Will anyone receive notifications from the integration?
A notification email will only be sent to the listed notification email address to flag any complications with your integration connection or any errors that may occur during data synchronisation.
Will our historical data be pushed when the integration is connected?
Any active records in intelliHR and Azure will be pushed. Historical inactive records will not be pushed.
