Goal Visibility across your Business
Visibility for employees with no direct reports
By default, all employees will have access to create, edit, and delete their own goals on their employee profiles within the Goals tab.
Employees that do no have direct reports are unable to create goals for other employees but they are able to create a parent goal that can be cascaded to other employees in the organization. For more information on Cascading Goals, click here.
When an employee assigns a cascaded goal, an email notification will be sent to the employee to prompt the creation of their own goal.
Visibility for employees with direct reports
Employees with direct reports will be able to create, delete and view goals on their own profiles and their subordinate's profiles.
Supervisors can also select Business Units when creating goals which will enable them to assign the same goal(s) to multiple employees at once making it easier to align your department and organization on key goals, OKRs, and/or KPIs.
Please keep in mind, that if the business unit is selected, you can only create goals for yourself, or others you have permission for within the business unit.
Employees with direct reports are also granted access to a Team's Active Goals Overview tab that can be accessed from their intelliHR Dashboard. This area makes it easy for supervisors to manage their team's goal to increase opportunities for communication between your team.
Visibility for System Administrators
Full access will be given to create, delete, edit and view anyone's goals within the company. There is also additional access to view and edit organizational Goal Settings. Please review the following article for further information on how Goal Categories and Goal Templates can be managed to streamline your organizational goals.
Tracking Goal Performance
Goals within Performance Reports
Employees can be reviewed based on their goal performance on an individual basis by utilizing the Goals template located in the Employee Performance Report.
This feature will allow the supervisor to review the completion rate of assigned goals in real-time and keep tabs on the current status of goal measurements to aid in the completion of desired company objectives in a timely fashion.
Goals within Analytics
There are three purpose-built Analytics reports designed to help system administrators manage Goals in their business at an organization level. Access to goal analytics can be granted to individual users through Analytics Settings. To learn more, read about how to configure analytics access.
