The contract feature in intelliHR allows you to create templates to utilize when sending to employees for signing. The templates are also equipped with variables that will allow administrators to set up templates to pull from certain fields within the employee’s profile upon sending.

Creating Contract Templates
Follow the steps below to access the Contracts Templates section. Please note you will require the contract_templates.manage permission to access this page under Contracts.
- Navigate to Organisation > Contract Templates
- Click on Create Template
- Provide your template with a name
- Select Add Signer to configure who is required to sign the contract.
The list of potential signers is dynamic i.e. selecting Supervisor will send the contract to the supervisor of whoever the contract is about.
By selecting Resolve at Issuing Contract you are choosing to select the required signer at the point when the contract is issued.
5. Select the Default Signing Order method to choose whether the contract can be signed in any order or whether one signature must be added at a time in a specific order.
6. Use the HTML Content area to start creating your contract templates
7. Once your template is created, you can publish it for use by selecting Publish Contract Template or Save Draft to come back to it later
Editing Contract Templates
Follow the steps below to edit Contracts Templates:
- Navigate to Organisation > Contract Templates
- Find a contract you wish to edit and go to the action menu
- Select Edit
- Apply the changes to the template's name, number of signers, or the template content
- Select Save Template to save your changes
